In the middle of the steep mountains of the Black River canyon you will find the Ubaque Lake. This lake is situated in the municipality of Ubaque and belongs to the sacred lakes of the Muisca mythology.
The walk is a descent from the Páramo Verjon to warmer lands in rural area. The region is the transition zone to the eastern plains and it is surrounded by the mountains of the National Park of Chingaza. The trail is an ancient path which leads us through cloud forests.
The cost of the hike includes transportation and guidance. Each person must bring a lunch and be prepared for weather changes.
